SAN DIEGO, Calif. - July 17, 2001 - WiredRed® Software Corporation, a premier provider of real-time communications software for the enterprise, today announced the availability of e/pop Remote Control. A stand-alone remote access and system administration product, WiredRed's e/pop Remote Control enables help desk and e-support professionals to proactively monitor and maintain Windows-based systems from remote locations on the network for immediate problem resolution. e/pop Remote Control also supports field personnel by providing reliable and secure access to network applications and desktops, as well as virtual training capabilities.

Enterprise Customers Simplify Network Administration Using e/pop Remote Control 
Using e/pop Remote Control, system administrators can quickly trouble shoot technical problems by examining the active window tasks of one or more computers on the network, take control of machines and remotely reboot or shut down a PC. Similarly, system backups and restorations, upgrades and new installations can all be completed remotely.

A Glendale, California-based, physicians group, Verdugo Internal Medicine Incorporated, has been using WiredRed's instant messaging product for more than three years and recently began using e/pop Remote Control. The organization is primarily using e/pop Remote Control for its medical billing backup and restore procedures, as well as remote software installations and updates. Before using e/pop, accomplishing these tasks meant going from desktop to desktop, which required a great deal of time and energy.
