More than just Instant Messaging (IM), e/pop is a comprehensive suite of real-time communications applications that offers centralized administration, enterprise-level security, application sharing and directory integration. WiredRed's e/pop 3.0 includes a comprehensive feature set that extends beyond traditional instant messaging. e/pop 3.0 consists of a suite of products including text-based chat conferencing, presence management, application sharing, advanced encryption for maximum security, voice over IP conferencing, and Citrix and Terminal Server support.

IM and Real Time Communications Software Moves to the Enterprise
Although currently viewed as primarily a consumer application, industry-leading analyst firms are predicting that IM and real-time communications software for the enterprise will become as important to corporate communications as email is today. Gartner Group, for example, predicts that by 2003, employees at 90 percent of big companies will be using IM in the workplace. International Data Corporation (IDC) forecasts that the number of worldwide IM corporate users will increase at a compound annual growth rate of 140 percent - from 5.5 million in 2000 to more than 180 million in 2004.

Pricing and Availability
e/pop 3.0 will be commercially available on June 5, 2001. The e/pop 3.0 product line is offered in a peer-to-peer edition for small businesses, standard edition server for medium size businesses or enterprise server edition for large businesses. e/pop client license packs start at $125 for a five-user client license pack and $4,995 for a 250-user client license pack. The e/pop standard edition server starts at $1,500. Upgrade pricing is available for e/pop 2.0 users.
